My Approach
I work with adult individuals and couples in a private practice setting via a remote platform. I tailor my therapeutic approach to therapy to meet the specific needs of each individual patient. Although I don’t subscribe to one specific modality of practice, I pull from Psychodynamic Theory, Family Systems, Attachment Theory, and Person-Centered Therapy. Please don’t let that fancy jargon confuse you. Simply put, I am a human person that practices therapy. Creating healthy boundaries is a substantial theme in the therapy that I offer. I view healthy boundaries as something that is monumentally important to our wellbeing and growth as individuals.

People often put off therapy because they feel overwhelmed with everything going on and they quite literally don’t know where to begin. This is very common and understandable. However, the reality is therapy can begin anywhere. For instance, the here and now. The here and now is tapping into that moment, on that day, in one’s feelings. You don’t have to get caught up right off the bat in narrating every single detail since you arrived on this earth, unless of course you want to. All of those details organically come out overtime in therapy.
One of my main goals as a therapist is to empower my clients, and I cannot stress that enough. Feeling confident and being empowered to make changes in our life is not an easy task, however together we can work towards your own specific goals.
